Day 16

Mrs. Kim Johnson’s room will be open for an hour after school each Monday and Thursday for anyone who would like to spend some extra time on school work.

Seniors who participate in at least one sport and are leaders in their school or community are eligible to apply for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award at www.wendyshiesman.com. The application deadline is OCTOBER 4 AT 5:00 PM. E-mail wendys@act.org or call 800 205 6367 if you have questions.

If you have not picked up your last yearbook supplement, there are still some in the office.

People interested in robotics should meet in the chemistry room Mondays at noon.

Juniors—Get your magazine sales turned in every day.

Dress up days for homecoming are as follows: Tuesday—old person vs. baby day, Wednesday—twin day (dress like a friend), Thursday—school rival day, Friday—Trojan spirit day.

High school photos will be taken Monday, October 11; elementary will be October 12.

On October 14 the “B” VB game will begin at 5:00, followed by the varsity game at 6:15. There will not be a “C” VB game on Oct. 14^th. 

The “C” team will play at Dawson on Oct. 18^th, at 4:30.

The 7-8 grades VB teams will play at Dawson at 4:30, on Oct. 18^th.

There will be a prom meeting at noon Wednesday in the office.

If you are planning to join FCCLA, please pay Mrs. Duffield the registration fee as soon as possible.

T-shirts will be ordered next Wednesday and you must have the registration fee paid before they are ordered.

Cast listings for the fall plays will be posted after 5^th hour today. Practices will begin Monday, October 4.

Senior photos are due to Mrs. Kim Johnson by December 15. Baby photos of each senior (ages birth to age 3) are due by December 15.

Senior superlatives must be in by the end of the day today.

7^th and 8^th grade football games are both at 5:00 at Dawson tonight.
